INDUSTRIAL ESSENTIALS SUPPLIER (IES) IS HIRING Ref.: IES-PROC-2026 Location: Bonabéri, Douala Contract: Professional internship with possibility of a permanent contract Start date: 1 December 2026 ABOUT IES IES is an industrial company based in Douala. It provides metal fabrication, surface treatment, rope access work, scaffolding, industrial thermal insulation and equipment supply to the industrial, oil and gas sectors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Receive and review purchase requests from operations and sales - Source local and international suppliers, then obtain and compare quotations on price, lead time and technical compliance - Negotiate prices, lead times and payment terms, including moving to credit terms - Issue purchase orders and follow up deliveries through to receipt - Coordinate imports with freight forwarders: documentation, customs clearance and logistics tracking - Build and maintain the supplier database, and assess supplier performance periodically - Manage stock of consumables and equipment (paints, insulation, steel sheets, PPE, scaffolding and rope access gear) - Provide cost prices to the sales team for quotations - Ensure purchases meet QHSE requirements and document traceability (certificates, datasheets, SDS) WHAT WE OFFER - Possibility of a permanent contract after the internship, based on performance - A key role at the heart of operations, with mentoring and skills development Comment postuler : Send your CV and cover letter to [email protected] with reference "IES-PROC-2026" in the subject line, no later than 12 November 2026.
Profil recherché
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent; a technical background is a plus - Recent graduates welcome; an internship or first experience in procurement is a plus, preferably in industry, oil and gas, or construction - Bilingual French / English, essential for dealing with foreign suppliers - Basic knowledge of Cameroon import procedures and Incoterms - Proficient in Excel; ERP experience (preferably Odoo) is a plus - Strong negotiation skills, rigour, integrity and responsiveness
