micro1 is selecting Mechanical Engineering Subject Matter Experts to participate in a dynamic project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work: - Analyze and solve advanced mechanical engineering problems across engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, vibrations, and manufacturing disciplines. - Evaluate and review AI-generated technical content for engineering accuracy, clarity, and completeness. - Apply practical engineering judgment to real-world design and analysis scenarios. - Deliver constructive technical feedback to enhance the reasoning and output quality of AI models. - Assess proposed engineering solutions for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. - Document detailed explanations and rationales underpinning engineering decisions and recommendations. - Collaborate remotely with a multidisciplinary team.
- MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or BS with 8+ years of related industry experience. - 5+ years advancing real-world mechanical design, product development, analysis, or R&D initiatives. - Proven experience in delivering products or mechanical systems through to production. - Deep expertise in Engineering Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Vibrations, and Manufacturing. - Outstanding analytical and engineering problem-solving abilities. - Demonstrated professional proficiency in English, written and verbal. - Previous involvement in multidisciplinary or remote engineering projects is a plus.
