Job description
IFRC is recruiting a Senior Officer for its Yaounde Country Cluster Delegation. National position, six-month duration, vacancy S18834. The delegation supports Red Cross societies in Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe. Responsibilities - Coordinate inclusive strategic planning, institutional investment and organisational development under IFRC Renewal 3.0. - Analyse assessments, evaluations and audits; facilitate consultations and define results and performance indicators. - Support governance, branches, volunteer engagement, digital systems, safeguarding and financial sustainability. - Coordinate contributions from Movement partners and provide advice on institutional change. - Deliver capacity-building and peer-learning activities, track implementation, document lessons and prepare reports. Requirements
- Advanced degree in Organisational Development, Strategic Management, Public Administration, International Development or a related discipline. - 3–5 years in similar institutional development work, at least 5 years in humanitarian/NGO organisations and 3 years in coaching or staff development. - Management or change-facilitation experience; strategic, financial, project and reporting skills. - Fluent English and French; another IFRC language is sought, with Portuguese/Spanish an asset. - Digital fluency, negotiation, mentoring and cross-cultural teamwork; Movement experience is preferred.
