Sanctuary Computer/garden3d seeks a worldwide remote technology leader, including candidates in Cameroon. Approximately 70% of time supports Sanctuary, 30% the wider collective. Responsibilities Set architecture and engineering standards; lead dependable agentic development, code reviews, recruitment and mentoring. Own estimation/delivery, advise clients and shape proposals, guide platforms/internal products, and coordinate design, software and hardware-facing work. Engagement and pay An initial four-month fractional trial pays USD 110-175/hour, approximately 64,207-102,148 FCFA/hour. A permanent leadership arrangement is developed after a successful trial; ownership eligibility follows proven success over 12-24 months, not automatically. 12+ years developing software, including at least 3 leading engineers. Production-system architecture across frontend/backend/data/infrastructure/native; hands-on agent/evaluation work. Broad React, Next.js, Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, Sanity, Postgres and Redis fluency. Strong hiring, mentoring, estimation and client-facing technical leadership. Hardware/IoT, consulting, open source and cross-disciplinary collaboration are advantages.
