The Specialist – Product Quality Assurance & Testing ensures that digital financial products are delivered with high levels of reliability, security, and customer confidence. The role focuses on structured, risk-based testing across the product lifecycle and supports the evolution of quality practices as the organization scales. Working closely with Product, Engineering, UX, Security, and Operations teams, the role ensures that quality is considered early, validated thoroughly before release, and continuously improved after launch. Responsibilities - Plan and execute quality assurance activities across the product lifecycle, from requirements through release and post-launch support. - Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing for digital financial products. - Validate fintech scenarios including transaction failures, reversals, retries, reconciliations, and exception handling. - Support testing for digital wallets, payments, lending, cards, APIs, and third-party integrations. - Ensure product behavior aligns with requirements, customer expectations, and operational realities. - Work with third-party partners and internal teams to validate integrated solutions. - Apply risk-based testing and support validation of regulatory and compliance requirements, including KYC/AML flows and data protection. - Maintain test documentation and evidence for audits and reviews. - Improve testing approaches and quality standards; support test automation where appropriate. - Participate in release readiness assessments and go-live decisions. - Support post-release monitoring, incident reviews, and root cause analysis. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, UX designers, and business stakeholders, communicating testing outcomes, risks, and recommendations. The role reports to the Manager – Product Delivery, in the Products & Services division.
Profil recherché
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is an advantage. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing. Experience testing digital products in fintech, banking, payments, or other regulated environments. Hands-on experience with manual and exploratory testing; exposure to API, integration, and mobile or web application testing and AI tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good understanding of agile product delivery practices; awareness of fintech operational, regulatory, and customer risks; ability to document and communicate defects, risks, and test outcomes clearly. Detail-oriented and quality-driven, pragmatic, collaborative, and open to learning new testing tools and practices. Desirable: exposure to test automation tools or frameworks; experience supporting UAT or business-led testing; knowledge of mobile money or telco-led fintech ecosystems; ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
