CodNesta Academy is an innovative education-focused initiative dedicated to bridging the gap between academic learning and practical, industry-relevant skills, particularly in underserved communities. Rooted in values of access and inclusion, CodNesta Academy develops hands-on, scalable education programs to empower individuals with real-world skills and opportunities. Currently in its pre-launch phase, the Academy is building its foundational curriculum, frameworks, and partnerships to support sustainable growth and community-driven learning. This is a full-time remote volunteer opportunity for a UI/UX Designer at CodNesta Academy. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating user-centric designs, developing wireframes and mockups, and ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms. This role includes collaborating with team members to understand user needs, designing intuitive interfaces, and contributing to the development of front-end visual elements. The designer will play a pivotal role in shaping CodNesta Academy's digital platforms to support accessible and inclusive education initiatives.
- Proficiency in User Experience (UX) and User Interface Design - Experience with Visual Design and creating mockups - Familiarity with Front-End Development and design implementation - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Passion for education, access, and inclusion - Ability to work independently in a remote setting - Previous experience in designing for educational or social impact projects is a plus - Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred
