Our client is a fast-growing creative studio producing high-performing social content for healthcare, real estate, and legal brands. They specialize in organic-style videos that drive reach across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. Their work focuses on storytelling, pacing, and performance, not just visual effects. Responsibilities: - Edit 100–120 short-form videos per month (12–40 seconds, up to 90 seconds max) - Create content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts - Maintain an organic, 'filmed by the client' aesthetic - Collaborate with 3 strategists managing ~30–35 videos each - Interpret briefs and evolve toward fully autonomous editing from raw footage - Deliver high-performance content targeting 15K+ views, with upside to 100K–1M+ - Ensure high-quality exports without compression issues in 4K workflows - Manage file delivery using structured systems like Dropbox - Participate in team meetings and contribute to creative discussions
- 5+ years of video editing experience - 4+ years editing short-form social content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) - Strong storytelling and pacing instincts - Deep understanding of viral content and social trends - Strong intuition for what performs on social - Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut - Experience editing high-volume content (multiple videos per week) - Ability to maintain quality across 85–100 videos per month - Strong attention to detail, especially with file quality and exports - Experience working with 4K/60fps footage without compression issues - Access to iPhone/MacBook for iCloud and shared album workflows - Ability to work autonomously from raw footage without detailed briefs
