Finding your first industrial maintenance job in Cameroon: where should you start?
Have technical training or initial workshop experience and want to enter industrial maintenance? Identify your field first: mechanics, electrical work, electromechanics or automation. “Can repair things” does not define a suitable role.
Target an accessible position
Search Kamerjob for “maintenance industrielle”, “technicien maintenance”, “électromécanicien” or “stage maintenance”. These are suggestions, not guaranteed vacancies. Read duties, equipment, required level and actual workplace.
Consider a supervised internship or junior role. A diploma does not automatically authorise independent work on every machine.

Review existing skills

Prepare a simple application
Create a focused CV, short message and fictional sheet describing symptoms, information to verify and referral to a supervisor. This demonstrates method without work on a real machine.
